Noah Gragson who drives the No.9 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports as a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series contender and part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series driving the No.62 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Beard Motorsports and the No.16 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Kaulig Racing seemed pretty disappointed after his run at the Pacific Automation 147 at Portland International Raceway was a rainy debut race for the Xfinity Series at the road course.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series headed to Portland International Speedway to host its next round of races and fans witnessed A.J. Allmendinger take his No.16 Chevrolet Camaro to the Victory Lane at the end of the Pacific Automation 147, Noah Gragson and Ty Gibbs could’ve had a shot at the win too but the two had squabbled when Gibbs sent Gragson into the grass off turn 2 with 7 laps to go for the end of Stage 2. Noah Gragson has emerged victorious at Phoenix Raceway and Talladega Superspeedway and also acquired nine top 5s this season.

It was a pretty difficult day to race when it seemed to be raining and Noah Gragson was sure disturbed by this as he went on and said that he didn’t find the race amusing and that he had to struggle to adapt to the track conditions and he also said that a bad track leads to crashes and eventually all the teams have to spend money to get their cars fixed again.

“Honestly, not very impressed at this place, to say the least, it’s pretty challenging to come out here for the teams, coming all the way across the country. And then on top of it, the way it’s designed. Everybody just tears their stuff up and it costs everybody money. I think three-quarters of fields are torn up and destroyed,” said Noah Gragson.

When asked about his encounters with Ty Gibbs, Noah Gragson responded by saying that it is the result of a badly designed track and also the decision to continue or delay the race based on weather needs to be checked and he concluded by saying that he’ll get his fair share of revenge when they go to Nashville Superspeedway later this month and get back at Gibbs for what he did today.

“That’s just the product of a not very well-configured racetrack, in my opinion. I’ll take care of that, I mean we’re racing and I got the lead, he cheap shot us, but we’ll keep that at the back of our mind and try to go to Nashville and win that race. You’ll know when I get him back,” concluded Noah Gragson.

Noah Gragson currently stands 3rd in the points table with two wins and nine top 5s which are pretty good enough to keep him in contention for the Xfinity Series Championship.
