Kyle Petty is one of the fan-favorite drivers of the 1990s. Son of NASCAR legend Richard Petty, Kyle has driven 829 races in his 30 years long cup career and has won 8 races. Though Petty was never a championship favorite throughout his career, he [produced some of the sport’s most iconic moments.

The Petty GMS Racing co-owner is an NBC sport Pundit and an author. He is also a well-respected musician. Petty’s commentary and opinions on races are highly regarded in the NASCAR community. He is one of the professional NASCAR pundits on the scene right now.

But not everyone shares a similar opinion. A Twitter user called out Petty’s commentary skills and punditry. ,

I am so puzzled why anyone Pays Kyle Petty for his opinion...I mean, even when he raced, No one listened to his opinion. He was a  Driver & I use that word loosely (driver)..some people will do anything to try and stay out in front with NASCAR racing.

Fans on Twitter were mostly in favor of Kyle Petty. Most of them come forth appreciating the views shared by Kyle Petty.

Apparently you don't know the history of what you are looking at bring so young. Kyle is a fourth generational driving family members in NASCAR. He get respect for that because nobody else can say they have. Rip Adam. So anything else U might want to bite your tongue like Ty.
