Christopher Bell who sports the No.20 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series seems to be elated before his run at the DuraMAX Drydene 400 at the Dover International Speedway this week.
This week will mark Christopher Bell’s 4th Cup Series start at the track and despite starting this season with 2 DNFs he came back strong with four top 10s and the rest spread across the grid, he also has one Cup Series victory and 27 top 10s to his name which is pretty evident to say that he has a long way to go.
“I’ve raced in three Cup races at Dover,” says an electrified Christopher Bell
Christopher Bell has been having his ups and downs this season but he seems to be familiar with the Dover Motor Speedway and said that it is one of his favorites as he raced pretty well in the Xfinity Series and this will mark his 4th appearance on the track in the Cup Series following the double-header in 2020.
“I love Dover, it’s always been one of my favorites. I ran really well in the Xfinity car there. I’ve raced in three Cup races at Dover, including the doubleheader in 2020,” said Christopher Bell.
He concluded by saying that he wasn’t able to get going for reasons unknown but is pretty confident about his outing at the track this year and hopes to finish off strong.
“I just haven’t been able to get going for some reason, but I expect us to be really fast this year. Hopefully, we are able to contend,” concluded Christopher Bell.
With Christopher Bell standing 14th with 243 points, will he be able to achieve the required amount of points to step into the top 10 of this season given his fondness for the Dover Motor Speedway?
