23X1 Racing‘s Bubba Wallace and the whole World went into shock on Tuesday, 24th of May,2022, as a result of what happened to be yet another mass shooting in the United States of America the suspect who was identified to be an 18-year-old teen, Salvador Ramos who gunned down at least 19 elementary school students and a teacher leaving several others injured in Robb Elementary School, Uvalde, Texas.
The identified suspect was later killed by the police who arrived at the scene, making this the worst and most unfortunate school shooting in over a decade and incident happened approximately 350 miles away from Fort Worth, where the iconic and disputable NASCAR All-Star Race was hosted this year where Ryan Blaney emerged as the victor after a perplexing race which ended in OT.
Several celebrities mourned the loss of lives among which one was Bubba Wallace, the No.23 Toyota Camry driver for 23X1 Racing, being the only man of color in the active line of racers and who has also undergone several political issues himself shared his thoughts on account of this horrifying mass shooting which involved the deaths of kids in ages between 7-10 and two adults reportedly.
Bubba Wallace has had tough luck behind the wheel this year having secured no wins and a P2 at the season opener Daytona 500 with two top 15s and a P16 at the recent All-Star Race but is surely exceptional when it comes to his skills as a driver and is only the second black man to win a race at Talladega after Wendell Scott in the previous year and currently stands 22nd in the points table.

Bubba Wallace indefinitely seemed upset just like anyone else after learning about this incident and he took to his Twitter handle to share his concerns which said that he remembers his times in elementary not having anything to worry about in the world and having a break in between classes and also having a crush in grade 1. He added recollecting that he was a mere kid going about his own business and moving ahead in life keeping those simple moments in mind and concluded that he misses those peaceful times.
“I remember elementary school. I remember not having a worry in the world. I remember having recess. I remember having my first crush on my classmate in 1st grade,” I remember being just a KID. Growing up and often thinking about those years and how times were much easier…,” tweeted Bubba Wallace.
He further added saying that the fact that the lives of those little kids were taken even before they got to experience the beauty of life learning things and that of the teacher is no more to help inculcate moral values into the future generations and said that all of this is extremely heartbreaking.
“Breaks my heart knowing those kids won’t be able to simply reminisce on the “good times” when they are older. Breaks my heart knowing that, that teacher won’t be able to help mold and shape those kids into becoming successful adults in their future..,” tweeted Bubba Wallace.
He concluded his tweet aggravated by the fact that their lives have been stolen and hopefully questions about the end of all this cruelty and sends his love and prayers to the kids, teachers, and families.
“All of this was taken from those innocent people… For what? When is this gonna stop? To Robb Elementary, the kids, and teachers. We love you!” tweeted Bubba Wallace.
