“I wanted it to be the NASCAR stuff first,” Chase Briscoe prioritizes NASCAR while keeping a return to dirt races open
Chase Briscoe
Chase Briscoe who drives the No.14 Ford Mustang for Stewart Haas Racing competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series races seems to be returning to his home tracks – the dirt races.
His 2022 outing so far has been really interesting with a victory at the Ruoff Mortgage 500, two top 10s, three top 20s, two top 30s, and a DNF in the Pennzoil 400. His season so far is evident to say that he is set in a good position in NASCAR standing 10th with 245 points.
Chase Briscoe now has the caliber and support to go and participate in other racing events like dirt races which initially led him to pursue racing as a career and it is shown that he is a pretty well-informed and talented racer when it comes to being one.
Chase Briscoe reveals that he prioritizes NASCAR over any of his racing ventures
Chase Briscoe has always had his initial priority as NASCAR but now that he’s a bit well settled in it he also feels that competing in other events helps to become a better driver with time enough to practice for Sundays’ races.
“NASCAR is my primary focus but I do think going and running other things does make you a better race car driver. With the landscape we find ourselves in now where you get 15 minutes of practice when you show up, I think getting to race as much as you can help make you better on Sundays,” said Chase Briscoe.
He concluded by saying that being able to participate in all types of races was something he never saw himself doing and that it feels too much at times but it is also fun and helps in improving skills.
“Getting to do all these different things – things I would never in a million years thought I’d be able to do. It’s a little overwhelming at times but also a lot of fun,” concluded Chase Briscoe.
Will Chase Briscoe live up to the claims he has made about his stability in his NASCAR career?
