Kaz Grala, a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, destroyed the “Go Bowling” sign at Watkins Glen International on Saturday. The 24-year-old lost control of his No.26 Toyota Supra and mowed the infield glass striking the sponsors’ sign. The track announced its multi-year extension with Go Bowling last season. They wanted to be a part of the historic road course and one of the most popular NASCAR tracks, and Grala gave the best advertisement.

John Harbuck, President of Strike Ten Entertainment, the marketing arm of the International Bowling Campus, expressed his happiness while extending the partnership with the track last season. He said in a statement, “We are very excited to extend our Go Bowling at The Glen entitlement sponsorship with Watkins Glen to a multi-year term. Our partnership with The Glen, one of the most popular tracks on the NASCAR circuit, provides us a national platform to engage and connect with NASCAR fans attending the race and a national TV audience watching from home.”

This is the sixth year of partnership between Go Bowling and Watkins Glen. The sponsors aim to build awareness of their sport and remind families to get together and go bowling. Kaz Grala’s action at The Glen did just that. NASCAR fans were amused by it. They claimed striking a Go Bowling sign seemed to be the best advertisement. The video of Grala wrecking into their sign went viral on social media, and fans had hilarious responses.
