2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson has landed a major endorsement deal ahead of the 2024 season. Prime Hydration, one of the fastest-growing beverage companies in the world, which YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI own, has joined the small but growing list of sponsors of the No:5 Chevy team.

Since his return to the Cup series, Larson’s NASCAR exploits have been sponsored by Hendrickcars.com, owned by his boss, Rick Hendrick. Major brands have shown hesitancy over the years to sponsor Larson despite him being the fastest driver of his generation. This is because of the one-year suspension Larson got in 2020 for using the N-word during an Iracing live stream.

It is still unclear if Larson will use a car with the paint scheme of a brand owned by WWE Superstar LoganPaul and a billboard Rapper in KSI. But he released a picture of the Prime-themed helmet he will be using. It is made using the Ice-Pop flavored Prime, whose bottle uses Red-White and Blue colored bottles.

Larson is joining an elite list of top-tier athletes with Prime endorsement deals. Three-time Super Bowl winner and Kansas City Chiefs star man Patrick Mahomes, who led the Chiefs to a consecutive SB win last Sunday at Las Vegas, and the soccer sensation of Manchester City Erling Haaland.  UFC stars Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya also have deals with Prime.

Here is how fans reacted to the Kyle Larson announcement

Fans on X had a mixed reaction to the revelation regarding Larson’s new deal. Fans were happy to see major brands returning to the No:5 garage and supporting Larson in his ventures. The racer’s fans have long been disappointed about the lack of sponsorship support the champion driver has received.

Some quickly pointed out the alleged Crypto pump-and-dump scam involving Logan Paul.  The latter has reportedly scammed his fans of $2.3 million and is yet to deliver on the promises of refunding the users. NASCAR fans are concerned Larson is endorsing a brand owned by a YouTuber with such a shady background.
