WATCH: “He doesn’t know what it’s like to be a failure”- Michael Jordan discontented with poor Bubba Wallace pitstop involving safety violation
Michael Jordan’s drivers and co-owner had a poor day at Richmond Raceway.

23XI Racing had a subpar day at the office in Richmond Raceway. The TRD team entered the Toyota Care 400 with good momentum from Tyler Reddick’s win at Circuit of the Americas. The 23XI duo of Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick finished outside the Top15. The no:45 Camry finished the race at P16 even after starting at P5. The No:23, on the other hand, secured P22 after starting the race on P28.
The No:23 team’s poor day was not just about the car’s pace and drivers. They were also troubled by some pitstop mishaps. One of the serious mistakes occurred as a non-pit crew member from the team fell into the pit lane over the barrier while Wallace was fitting. The 23XI employee was trying to catch the tire, which was rolling.
It wasn’t just Wallace who was having a bad time at the pits; near him, Denny Hamlin, the team co-owner, also had a bad day in the pitlane. He had a couple of bad pit stops and was penalized twice for speeding. Hamlin had the best Camry of the day. Fox camera spotted team owner Michael Jordan, seemingly disturbed by an unforced error from his team.
Jordan’s frustration might be inflated post-race due to poor results and the bad streak Bubba Wallace is on in the No:23 Car. The sole African American driver on the grid was ready to redeem himself with a solid day at the Toyota-sponsored event but failed. Jordan might also feel sorry for his co-owner Hamlin as well.
