Alex Bowman‘s crew chief Greg Ives announced his plans to exit the No:48 team at the end 2022 season in August. Now HMS has announced Blake Harris of Front Row Motorsports as his replacement.

Blake Harris will join with the team mid-November as the season comes to a close. He is currently the crew chief of Mitchel McDowell. Alex Bowman, who is currently out of cup racing due to concussion, might not race again with Greg Ives this year.

Alex Bowman welcomed his new crew chief, posting a message on his social media handle. He acknowledged that Blake is a great fit for him. He expressed optimism that along with Blake he can take what Greg Ives built to a whole another level.
