Carl Edwards is invited as a special guest to the Ally 400, he will also be honored for his achievements at the Nashville Superspeedway.

Carl Edwards, a former NASCAR driver, last drove the No:19 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing. Despite his retirement years ago, his legacy lives on. Edwards will be honored during the Ally 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on June 25th at Nashville Superspeedway. The 43-year-old has six wins on this track and celebrated each with his famous backflips. Edwards’ post-race celebrations are considered iconic by the fans. 

His six victory backflips at the Nashville Superspeedway were during his dominance of the 1.3-mile track in the 2000s. During Ally 400 next weekend, the track officials will honor their respected guest, Carl Edwards. They will celebrate his legacy and impeccable record at Nashville Superspeedway. This will be one of the many acknowledgments for his time in NASCAR. Edward, who is only 43 years old, retired in 2016 and shocked the NASCAR world.

One of Carl Edwards’ many accomplishments was that he was named to NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers list. It was the sanctioning body’s 75th-anniversary celebration, and they wanted to honor additional 25 names to their 50 greatest drivers list. Thanks to his stellar record, Carl Edwards was included in the list. His wins and the brilliant record at Nashville Superspeedway contributed to the honor.

Carl Edwards will greet the fans at Nashville Superspeedway

Edwards was the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series champion. Though he retired at 36, he secured 38 wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and 28 wins in the Cup Series. Edwards also has six victories in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He has 429 top-ten finishes in the three series combined. However, his best performance was in Nashville Superspeedway, NASCAR’s largest concrete oval. 

 Five of 38 wins in the Xfinity Series were at this track, twice in 2011, twice in 2007, and once in 2006. His sixth victory here was in August 2003 with the Truck Series. The fans are excited to see Edwards at Ally 400. There is no doubt that they would get the chance to meet him before the race. Carl Edwards will appear at the Ally 400 fan zone.

NASCAR reporter Alex Weaver will interview the 2007 Busch Series champion. Carl Edwards will also stop by the pre-race concert stage before Parker McCollum’s country music performance. His duties include participating in the pre-race ceremonies. He will also drop by the Green Room Lounge, a newly created VIP lounge for premium experiences for special guests.

Though Carl Edwards retired years back, he has been busy appearing in a drama series to playing in a celebrity softball game. Edwards was also spotted in country music videos.
