NASCAR releases a statement on Tommy Bladwin Jr. getting diagnosed with cancer
NASCAR has extended its support to Tommy Bladwin Jr’s fight against cancer.

NASCAR has released a statement on the cancer diagnosis of five times Cup race-winning crew chief and race team owner Tommy Bladwin Jr. The legendary figure of the sport currently runs his team Tommy Baldwin Racing. He is also the competition director for Cup team Rick Ware Racing.
In a statement released on social media and their social media, the premier stock car racing sanctioning body said that NASCAR joins Tommy Baldwin Jr. in the fight against cancer. NASCAR wished him well and said the legendary figure was in their prayers.
“Tommy Baldwin Jr. is a fighter, and NASCAR joins him in this fight and fully supports his decision to concentrate on his treatment. We wish him well, and our thoughts and prayers are with Tommy and his loved ones at this time,” NASCAR stated.

Tommy Bladwin Jr. to take a break and fight cancer
Bladwin Jr. broke the news about his diagnosis after Willaim Byron’s dominant Cup race win at Watkins Glen. He said that this week’s Whelen Modified Tour race of TBR will be his last as he will take a break to beat cancer.
“Today, I post the news that no one ever wants to hear… I have cancer. It’s treatable, but this week of racing will be the last for a while for the Tommy Baldwin Racing team. Going to take a break and begin treatment to beat it into the ground,” Baldwin stated.
The NASCAR veteran released the message to send a social message that if anyone doesn’t feel right, they must consult a doctor, as it could save lives. He asked the fans to share the news with their loved ones and never be scared about going to a dictator
“Take the message and share it with those you love before it is too late… I will beat this challenge like every other. The grind begins now. Thanks to everyone for the support. See you all at the track as soon as possible,” he added.
