Tony Stewart, the former NASCAR driver, has recently shed light on last year’s infamous Bubba Wallace‘s heated altercation with Kyle Larson at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Stewart has made it known that had he has been in Larson’s place, he would not have let Wallace bully him during the incident.

During a recent episode of The Dale Jr. Download podcast, Kyle Larson shared his thoughts on the incident, and Tony Stewart, after hearing the former’s comments, has given a strong warning to Bubba Wallace. While talking about the incident, he said, “Kyle’s not a fighter … I texted Kyle after the Bubba incident in Las Vegas, and I was like, ‘listen, I understand he pushed you once. But the second time he did it, that’s enough. And the third time he pushed you that, I would lay his a** out.”

“I said, ‘what, what are you doing?’ He goes, ‘Man, I’ve never been in a fight in my life and I didn’t want to get my a** kicked and in front of all these people. It’s like, I get it. All right. We’re gonna teach you how to fight though bud.” Looking at Stewart’s outburst, it is quite clear that he is not at all pleased with Bubba Wallace for how he treated Kyle Larson in Las Vegas.

Moreover, has even gone on to indicate that he will help Larson how to fight back during heated altercations. Tony Stewart, during his racing days, was well known for being a hothead and getting into fights with his fellow drivers. He never backed out of a fight, and his response to Larson’s incident is quite understandable, considering how he was as a racing driver.

While Tony Stewart has indicated that he is going to help Kyle Larson in learning the art of fighting back, he has, however, showcased his surprise at Larson’s reaction. “He had somebody pushing him and he didn’t get in a fight.” One thing to notice here is that Stewart and Larson are completely different personalities.

Tony Stewart has a reputation for getting into fights, whereas Kyle Larson, on the other hand, prefers to stay away from any altercations as much as possible. Even if he does find himself in one, he tries his best to stay as calm as he possibly can. This trait sets Larson apart from most of other NASCAR drivers.

Keeping a cool head during heated altercations can help stop something from escalating any further. This happened when Larson chose not to retaliate against Bubba Wallace’s incessant shoves at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway last year. Considering how aggressive the NASCAR drivers are these days, it is important to have calm personalities like Larson in the sport.
