He stayed well in the lead of Denny Hamlin following him and he began to celebrate his 1Million USD cash prize line but the All-Star Race was forced into OT as Ricky Stenhouse Jr. forced a caution, moments before Blaney crossed the finish line, and since he had his window net down, that could’ve been penalized but they chose to leave it be leaving fans and drivers a frustrated.
How NASCAR fans reacted to his debatable All-Star Race victory
Many NASCAR fans took to their own Twitter handles to voice their opinions on the disputable issue where few fans were supportive of the winner congratulating him whereas few weren’t all that familiar with the format and struggled to understand the format, multiple fans called out NASCAR for bringing in the caution moments before the end of the race deeming it unnecessary while few were frustrated with the fact that they switched the live coverage of the celebrations leaving the fans disappointed.
