Seth Kramlich, the current Managing Director of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, was arrested and charged with DWI last Saturday morning in North Carolina. Kramlich took up one of the senior-most positions in the third-tier series of NASCAR hierarchy ahead of the 2022 season, and 2023 was his second year in the leadership role.
He was previously the assistant director of the second-tier championship, the Xfinity Series. Kramlich was promoted to the Truck Championship role after Brad Moran was promoted to the Cup series. He joined NASCAR in 2014 at Evergreen Speedway in Washington, working in ‘competition settings, Race Operations, and working hand-in-hand with officials.’
He will miss the last two races of the 2023 Truck season, which includes the final race of Round of Eight at Miami this Sunday and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway. Kramlich will have his first court date on December 28. The current Xfinity Series Managing Director, Wayne Auton, will fill in for Kramlich, as reported by Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass on X.

Two Truck Series drivers were arrested for DWI in August
Two part-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers were arrested in August for a DWI at Huntersville. The drivers in question are Jason White and Chris Hacker. Both of them had their court date last month.
Jason White was arrested on August 3rd and charged with DWI. The arrest cast shadows on the 44-year-old driver’s return to the Truck series after decades of absence. He drove for Trico Garage for one race in Daytona this year.
Chris Hacker was arrested on August 15th. He is charged with DWI as well as reckless driving. The 23-year-old invited some bad press to his budding career with the poor decision. He has driven six Truck and one Xfinity this season and scored some average finishes.
