The 2022 cup season marked history for Bubba Wallace as he produced his greatest season. Wallace, who is one of the most criticized racers on the grid, was able to silence a few of them with his performance. He also made some new critics with his on-track antics as well for 23X1 Racing.
He scored his second cup career win at Kansas and his maiden pole at Michigan. Wallace was unfortunate to jot to secure a win that day, as he produced the most solid run of his career during the race. He finished the season at P19, scoring 4 top 5s and 5 top 10s, along with the win. In his four previous cup seasons, he scored 6 top 10s and 5 top 5s.
2022 also witnessed the most disappointing moment of Bubba’s cup carer as he was suspended for one race for intentionally wrecking Kyle Larson at the Las Vegas playoff race. The incident attracted many critics, most of whom he signed by his Kansas win. Wallace made amends and is setting himself up for the 2023 season with a better understanding of the Next-Gen car.
The primary focus for Wallace in 2023 will be the get himself ready for the Daytona 500. The superspeedways always have been productive for him, and he has finished P2 in the Daytona 500 Twice, with the latest one coming in 2022. 23X1 will see some changes next year, as well as Tyler Reddick, taking over the No:45 team and Kurt Busch stepping down to a part-time role.

23X1 Racing via its official Twitter handle, asked fans which were the driver’s best moment of 2022 other than the win and had a mixed set of response. Few of them used the opportunity to troll Wallace as they branded his suspension as the best moment. Some fans also shared some wholesome stories of their experience witnessing Bubba.
