NASCAR Cup Series returned to the renovated North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday for the first time since 1996. The annual All-Star Race was a much-anticipated event by the fans. Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson won NASCAR’s All-Star Race for the third time. He led the last 145 laps and had a 4.5 seconds margin over Bubba Wallace, who finished second.
There is a common pattern during the All-Star Race weekend. According to the trend, the All-Star Open is better than the race. The NASCAR drivers are often excited to advance into the race and fight for the one million dollars. Sunday was no different; the All-Star Open was filled with drama. However, the race was rather quiet. Though it seemed like there was not much action on track, a battle occurred in the stands during the race.
A video on Twitter showed two NASCAR two male fans pulling each other’s hair and fighting during the race. Soon the security intervened and separated the two of them. It also showed that the other fans were more interested in watching them fight than in the race. There was a headlock and punches involved in the dramatic fight. However, the reason behind the brawl is unclear.
