NASCAR will hit the Nashville Superspeedway on June 26th for the annual Ally 400, which will be the 17th round of cup racing in 2022 and the first race after the mid-season break of this week. The race will surely be going to produce fireworks as it is among the few of the non-road course racing that’s left on the schedule for most of the drivers to have a shot at winning as the road courses usually don’t favor the small teams which in terms limit their playoff chances.
Going into the race fans have another exciting news coming their way as WWE superstar Sheamus will serve as the honorary starter for the cup race. The Dublin-born Irishman is among the global superstar of entertainment wrestling and has secured the WWE championship, US Championship, and Tag team championship in his illustrious career. Now a Nashville resident it will be a pleasant opportunity for Sheamus to be the honorary starter for the NASCAR Cup race.
Announcing Sheamus’s appearance Nashville Superspeedway’s president and general manager Erik Moses acknowledged that they are looking forward to welcoming the WWE superstar and his legion of fans to Nashville for the race weekend. He went on to say that Sheamus’ athletic feats earned him the international stardom he now has and there are excited to let Sheamus experience NASCAR in all its glory alongside the thrill of waving the green flag.

Kane Brown to be the Grand Marshal for Sally 400 alongside Sheamus
NASCAR has announced that Five Times American Music Award winner Kevin Brown will serve as the Grand Marshall for the Nashville Superspeedway Cup Race. The “One Mississippi” writer and singer will give commands to the drivers to start their engines on Sunday, June 26. Brown who was featured in the times 100 most influential people of 2022 has had several other hits to his name including “Be Like That” and “Like I Love Country Music,”.
Reacting to his appearance in the coming race weekend Erik Moses, the president, and general manager of Nashville Superspeedway, acknowledged that he can’t wait to welcome Kane Brown to the upcoming racing extravaganza in Nashville as part of the Ally 400 celebration. He went on to say that he is thrilled to see USA’s top drivers and top entertainers at Middle Tennessee’s home for NASCAR.
“We can’t wait to welcome Kane Brown to Nashville Superspeedway next month as part of our celebration around the Ally 400.
