The Canadian version of the NASCAR Cup series has announced its decision to rename the NASCAR Pinty’s Series to the NASCAR Canada Series. The announcement was made through a statement that also revealed the schedule for the 2024 season, which will have 13 races in 12 different race tracks around the country.
While the stock car racing body hasn’t given a reason for the name change, they are believed to be following the NASCAR Cup series model. The Cup series stopped using sponsor titles in a bid to build a brand around it, with the sponsors being given the title of presenters of the primer racing championship.

Pinty’s, which has been the title sponsor of the series since 2016, from next-year will be known as presenters. Evirum joins them as the presenting partner. The sponsors are set to invest a lot in the sport, with projects to support teams, fans, and more. According to another announcement, Alan Labrosse, the longtime Canadian motorsports executive, will now serve as the General Manager of NASCAR Canada.
The 2024 calendar that was announced has seen some significant changes. This includes a few new tracks and a new season finale destination. The 2024 Canda NASCAR season finale will be hosted at Autodrome Montmagny, which will also be the debut race at the track. May 19 will mark the start of the season, and September 22 will be the end.
What do Evirum and Pinty’s have to say about new sponsorship roles?
Both new presenting sponsors of the series have released statements on the new structures of the sport and explained how they will help the sport to grow further. Yanick Gervais, Olymel president and CEO, said that Pinty’s are proud of their initiatives to support the series.

Once again, we are very proud to associate the name of our Pinty’s brand with NASCAR Canada as a presenting partner, thus supporting motorsport in Canada, which will now have a new race in Quebec.
Evirum, which is a recycling firm, is eager to use its expertise to promote the sustainability efforts of NASCAR. According to their president Julien Remillard, they are also invested in expanding the brand in Canada and the USA.
Evirum is excited to join NASCAR Canada as one of their Presenting Partners and as its Official Residual Materials Management and Environmental Solutions Provider... We eagerly anticipate sharing our expertise with NASCAR Canada and its stakeholders to bolster their recycling and sustainability efforts.
