Adam Joseph Scherr, well-known as Braun Strowman, is a WWE star and former strongman. Apart from his professional wrestling career, he is now set for a role in the upcoming NASCAR Cup race. Strowman will be the honorary pace car driver for the Toyota Save Mart 350 at the Sonoma Raceway. The event is scheduled for June 11th. 

During the latest episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, professional wrestling commentator Micheal Cole, he was announced that Strowman would feature in the upcoming NASCAR Cup race. The 39-year-old is not only known for his strength but also his personality. Undoubtedly, he would bring his charisma to the Cup race on Sunday. The NASCAR world is ready to witness “The Monster Among Men” drive the pace car.

The pace car is deployed to limit the speed of the race cars on the track. Come Sunday, Strowman will get to drive it during the race start. This is a great opportunity for him as he enters a new arena. Strowman is one of the most intimidating competitors in WWE and has dominated the sport for over eight years. In 2020, Braun Strowman won his first world title at WrestleMania 36 and has challenged some of the biggest names in the sport.

Braun Strowman has other interests apart from wrestling

Strowman is not just a wrestler; he appeared in a movie called “Holmes & Watson” in 2018, cast alongside actors Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. He was also a brand ambassador for companies, which included Polaris and Universal Technical Institute. Strowman showed off his business skills as he co-founded Crusher Nuts (a peanut butter company). He also partnered with Anarchy Bats to pay tribute to and honor his father, who was a legendary softball player. 

Hence, it is understood that Strowman has other interests apart from wrestling. He will be ready to lead the pack of 36 drivers through the pace laps to the start of the race at Sonoma Raceway on June 11th. Strowman will be honored on the pre-race stage before the Toyota Save Mart 350.

This weekend will mark Sonoma Raceway’s 34th annual NASCAR weekend. It is a hectic schedule, and NASCAR fans will undoubtedly buckle up to witness the on-track action. The ARCA Menards Series West race, the General Tire 200, was held on Friday. The NASCAR Xfinity race, the DoorDash 250, was scheduled for Saturday, and the weekend will end on a high note, with the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday.
