Kyle Larson came into Sunday Circuit of the America’s Cup race with the hopes of scoring a double after gaining solid momentum with his win at the Xfinity Series race. He won the second-tier race despite starting all the way at the back. But his Cup outing didn’t go as planned as multiple factors including a clash with Christopher Bell cost him.

Midway to the second stage of the race Kyle Larson in the No:5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevy was racing hard Christopher Bell in the No: 20 JGR Toyota Camry. Bell’s attempt to overtake the 2021 Cup champion through the inside lane in the turn, while there was no space to make the move, saw Lason getting spun and he lost 30 spots as the entire field passed him.

Bell wasn’t affected much by the incident and he went on to secure a P2 finish in the race after coming very close to defeating Larson’s teammate and race winner Willaim Byron. On the other hand Larson was able to score just a P17 finish. Bell after the race did apologize to Larson for the incident and admitted that it was his fault.

Here is how fans on X reacted to Kyle Larson- Christopher Bell incident

The NASCAR fans on social media wasn’t impressed by how blatant the incident was from Bell. They were quick to point out his mistakes and blaming him for ruining what could’ve been at least a top-5 finishing day for Larson.

Some fans also used Christopher Bell clashing with Kyle Busch to back their argument that the leading Toyota driver was over aggressive and less productive on the day. There were few who came in support of Bell claiming it was a mistake from the TRD driver.

Before going into the Cup event Next-Weekend, Bell has to end all the beef he now has with both the Kyle’s. Busch has already promised a payback, but Larson is yet to speak on it. It’s important for Bell to have good conversations to have a smooth 2024 season.
