After losing the 2022 Xfinity Series title to Ty Gibbs in a dramatic duel, Noah Gragson secured a Cup seat with Legacy MC. He was determined to prove his worth, but he was in for a nightmare. The team performed poorly throughout the year and he was forced to exit the team after getting suspended for liking a racially in-sensitive image on social media.

The young driver completed his sensitivity training and was able to get a second chance with Stewart Haas Racing. This time he made it count by getting the most performance out of the No:10 Ford. It was enough to convince Front Raw Motorsports to offer Noah Gragson a seat for the 2025 season, as SHR is ceasing its operations.

But none of this wouldn’t have happened if the young driver didn’t show mental resilience. During his FRM 2025 announcement, the Ford driver admitted that he was most down on himself in the 2023 season. Noah Gragson even thought about ending his professional racing career and move back to Vegas.

Last year, I was probably the most down on myself. I was ready to move back to Vegas and go do landscaping or build pools out there. I didn’t enjoy racing anymore.
Noah Gragson told Bob Pockrass.

Noah Gragson had found love for racing again in 2024

He later went on to point out that he has once again found the love he has for the sport and has found himself again in the 2024 season. SHR and other close allies of Gragson was able re-ignite the love he has for the sport again.

This year, I found my love for the sport again. I found out why I wanted to do it, and I found myself. My appreciation for the sport has flipped 180 in the last 12 months. A big part of that is the people that I have around me.
Noah Gragson said.

Going into FRM replacing Michael McDowell from the 2024 season is going to be massive challenge for the youngster. The veteran driver has been the source of FRM’s success over half-a-decade and Gragson is expected to fill the shoes to lead the team to new heights.
