Renee Gracie said she came to US with plans to relocate from her Native Australia. Renee Gracie said she has never seen a NASCAR car in person and is planning to do so during her visit and said she is excited to explore how races are run in US and about the public perception. Renee Gracie added that motorsports is big in US compared to Australia and there are multiple racing opportunities available to choose from.

“I’ve been here for five or six days but I had a good look to see if it’s somewhere I could call home, I’m visiting as many states as I can and to see where I’d like to be based…,” Renee Gracie said to Motorsport.com.

“I’ve never seen a NASCAR car in person, so I hope to do that over this weekend at the NASCAR Experience [at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, it’s exciting to be in a whole new world, see how they run things here, how it’s seen in the public eye here compared to back home,” says Renee Gracie.

“Motorsports is big in America compared to Australia, obviously a lot more people here. Having done some research about, which is exciting,” Renee Gracie added.

Renee Gracie went on say she still has passion for racing and still is still into racing, and said she is in US to find opportunities which she can get passionate about and also feels right to her heart. Renee Gracie added that she wants to know about the whole different world of racing in us and potentially get involved directly or indirectly in racing.

“I want to be involved in some way, it’s not even all about the racing anymore, I do have a passion for motorsport, I still have toys at home – karts, cars – I’m still into it, so it’s something I still love doing,” Renee Gracie said.

“Coming over here, it’s to find something new that I can get passionate about, and to see the whole new world of racing, see what sticks out to me, maybe see something that I didn’t even know existed! To get involved in some way, shape or form is the goal, but it has to feel right in my heart,” Renee Gracie added.

“Whether I do that myself, or whether I get another female driver on board, I just wanna have fun with it – that’s the biggest thing to me,” Renee Gracie said.

Introduction of Renee Gracie to the drivers list can be financially beneficial to racing championships like NASCAR as the lack of female participation in these circuits being criticized and the market access and market reach Renee Gracie’s celebrity status provide.
