“It is great to have a home and stability!” Rajah Caruth signs a contract extension with Spire Motorsports
Spire Motorsports and Hendrick Motorsports has announced a 2025 contract extension for Rajah Caruth in the Truck Series.

The 2024 NASCAR season marked second full-time Truck Series season of Rajah Caruth with front-runners Spire Motorsports. He became the first African American racer since Bubba Wallace to win a race in the series, with his impressive run at Las Vegas. He experienced drop in form in the final part of the season resulting in him finishing P7 in the championship.
Despite the disappointment of 2024, Rajah Caruth, his home team Hendrick Motorsports and Spire has decided to continue their deal for 2025. The are expecting have a better season next-year before the driver eventually get promoted to the next-round. Caruth is cherishing the stability the move has brough to him and appreciate the opportunity for next year.
It is great to have a home and stability heading into next year. I believe this is the first time in my career I won’t be with a new team. Or competing in a different series at the start of the season. I really appreciate the opportunity [Spire co-owners] Jeff [Dickerson] and T.J. [Puchyr] have given me, and I’m excited to continue preparations for 2025.
Rajah Caruth said via a statement.
He highlighted that Spire Motorsports has really grown over the past year and showed how capable they are. Caruth believes they have set a high bar for the for the upcoming seasons and expectations to win more races as well as championship.

Our organization has really grown over the past year, and we have shown what we are capable of. We have set the bar high for the season. And the expectation is to win more races and compete for a championship.

Rajah Caruth received a lot of praise from his boss Rick Hendrick and asserted that the youngster shows tremendous character in 2024. He highlighted the impressive talent and work ethic showed by the star driver. The Hall of Famer believes the No:71 Chevrolet Silverado driver has a bright future in the sport.
