Their contribution is not only limited to the sport, as they also have made significant impact on humanitarian fronts with their charity efforts over the years.
One of their noteworthy contributions has been the Victory Junction camp. It was built to honor Adam Petty, who dreamed of one day building a cap to help children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions, before tragically passing away in 2000. His father Kyle Petty made the dream come true in 2004 in his honor with the help of Adam’s grandfather Richard Petty.
They initially donated 84 acres of the land they own alongside other donation for the project and now they have made another significant donation. The Petty family announced that they have donated approximately 403 acres of land to Victory Junction, two decades after the launch of the camp.
