Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson proved yet again why he is regarded as one of the biggest talents ever in NASCAR on last Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He won the Brickyard 400, surviving the late race drama and marked his 4th win of the season while also securing P1 in the championship points table.
Kyle Larson, has now won every Crown Jewel races in NASCAR except the Daytona 500 in his short racing career in the premier stock car racing series that still has a lit left to offer. HMSs Hall of Fame team owner Rick Hendrick was over the moon seeing his driver securing the win in a track where his side always been contenders.
It wasn’t as intended, but @TeamHendrick owner Rick Hendrick was happy to see the blue and papaya No. 5 Chevy in Victory Lane thanks to @KyleLarsomRacin @IMS.

The one aspect of the race Hendrick was most impressed by was the No:5 getting through the traffic easily despite the struggles with passing. He used some tricks he learned from IndyCar to pull of the impressive passes. Hendrick asserted that his driver was an unreal talent and seems more than happy with his decision to sign him back in 2021.
The way he came through traffic, I mean, I could not believe it. He just gets everything there is out of a car. You just get him even and he'll take care of the rest. I just could not believe the way he'd set people up and he rucked the traffic. I asked him, I said, 'Man, that was unreal,' and he said, 'I learned some of that with IndyCar.' I said, 'Well, okay.' But man, he's a talent. The guy is unreal.Rick Hendrick said via SiriusXM NASCAR radio.
Rick Hendrick is happy to see Kyle Larson winning with The Double plaint scheme
Kyle Larson attempted running the iconic Indy500-Coke 600 double this season, but failed to finish it as the rain delay ruined his chances of racing at Charlotte. So, HMS used the same paint-scheme for this weekend at Indy and Hedrick is happy to his driver getting the win by suing it.
We were so excited about running this car in Charlotte and running the Indy 500, and it didn't work out because of the weather. Had to come back and win this one and to do it in this paint scheme and to be able to drive the pace car in a place like this. It's always a great day. I can't believe we've won this race 11 times. But 30 years is a long time too.Rick Hendrick said.
The 2024 season has been impressive for HMS and Kyle Larson with their excellent execution on the track as well as off the track. It would be interesting to see if the season would yield them the championship they crave for.
