The 2024 season so far has been kind to the Ford teams in all four tiers of NASCAR. The are yet to secure a win this season in the national series, while it’s counterparts Toyota and Chevy are scoring dominant win. The Cup series struggle is the biggest concern for the team as they are the defending champions with Ryan Blaney.

Recently speaking about the form of his manufacturer, the reigning champion Ryan Blaney has asserted that he isn’t panicked about the lack of Speed and failure to be in race winning position since Atlanta. He is confident about the team’s chance of bouncing back and reminded the garage that there is plenty of races left in the season.

There’s still time to get better so, I mean, if we get in late summer and we’re still struggling, then you need to figure something out quickly. But right now, there’s still plenty of time. Obviously, we want to run a little bit better but not close to the panic button.

Fords’ underwhelming performance since the debut of new Mustang Dark Horse body is really concerning. They are now in the second worst winless streak of their history in NASCAR right now and are desperate snapping it as soon as possible.

You have a lot of things to learn, and I feel like what we learned from last year, going into the playoffs bring that same mentality, like, hey things might not be going how we want to right now, but we’re continuing trying to learn and get better.
Ryan Blaney said.

Blaney has all the rights to be confident about his chances to secure a playoff spot as he ahs been one of the most consistent drivers of the season. He won the championship in 2023 by grinding his way to the top in each race weeks and reckons he can recreate it this year.  Being the champion of the OEM, he should take the responsibility upon himself to get them out of this steak.
