Reigning Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney came into New Hampshire Motor Speedway this Sunday with the hopes of securing back-to-back wins after he ended his winless streak last week at Iowa Speedway. He had a strong race and was running P2, with just nine laps left in the race. But his promising run didn’t last long.
While in a fight with Front Row Motorsports driver Michael McDowell, he got wrecked into the wall and resulted in him having to settle for a finish outside the top-25. The No:34 Ford got lose as he attempted a “law percentage move” on Ryan Blaney. His car slid up the track and got into the team Penske Ford that was running on the outside lane.

Blaney who is infamous for his radio rants despite being a calm individual outside the track went hard on his fellow Ford driver. He called the veteran a moron for making the move in that stage of the race and he continue using the same tone in his post-race interview as well.
What the f*** did he think was going to happen there? … I know exactly what happened. He bombed it in there like a moron.Ryan Blaney said via team radio.

Ryan Blaney has not cooled down despite Michael McDowell’s apology
The Team Penske driver got an apology from McDowell after the race, but wasn’t satisfied with it though it was nice gesture. He asserted that it was a low percentage move and taking both of them out of the race at the time wasn’t worth it.
He said he was sorry that he wrecked me. The apology is nice, but not gonna bring back what he did. I knew what he was trying to do. It was a low percentage move, it’s wet down there and you’re just gonna drive it down in there, what do you think is gonna happen. Like, you’re gonna take both of us out.Ryan Blaney said.
Blaney: "Apologies are nice but it isn’t going to bring back what he did. I knew what he was trying to do. It was a low percentage move. It was wet down there and he drove it in there. What do you think is going to happen? You are going to take both of us out." https://t.co/ekhoaY957y

The dual between the two gave Charistopher Bell a redeeming win after all the mess he went through previously in the weekend. The Ford duo of Blaney and McDowell was replaced by another Ford duo, as Chase Briscoe and Josh Berry of SHR secured the podium positions.
