Ryan Blaney will be taking up the pole position ahead of this weekends’ Echopark Automotive Grand Prix at COTA

Ryan Blaney, the 28-year-old who drives the No.12 Ford Mustang for Team Penske will be leading the pack as they head onto the Echopark Automotive Texas Grand Prix this Sunday. The lead pole position for Ryan Blaney during this weekend’s qualifying race came in handy as now he will be leading from the front.

Ryan Blaney has so far had a mixed season with two top 5’s and two top 20s and one disqualification in the Pennzoil 400. Ryan Blaney made a proper comeback after he went off-road into the soft barriers but he managed to bounce back on top.

Daniel Suarez of Trackhouse Racing, Cole Custer of Stewart-Haas Racing, Tyler Riddick of Richard Childress Racing, and Alex Bowman of Hendrick Motorsports will make up the top 5. Joey Hand and Andy Lally will take up P38 and P39 respectively.

Andy Lally will line up in the back of the grid alongside Joey Hand and Boris Said. It is also interesting to note that with the pole holder the bottom five also drives Ford-manufactured vehicles in COTA.
