Ryan Truex wants to honor his dad by winning at Daytona
Both Truex brothers are set to race at Daytona this season. Martin Truex Jr. will drive Tricon Garage’s Cup debut, marking most probably his finale race. Ryan will race for Sam Hunt Racing in the Xfinity Series as part of the part-time schedule for the 2025 season.
Going into the race, Ryan Truex is seeking an opportunity to honor his father by winning at least one race between the brothers.
There is a good chance one of them can win the race, considering its Daytona and they will have cars good enough to win, owing to the support from Joe Gibbs Racing. It would be interesting to see if they can achieve the goal at the Great American Race weekend.
