NASCAR star Ryan Blaney to go head-to-head with his father Dave Blaney in SRX finale

The Blaney family is one of the most well-respected and followed the racing family in US racing scenes, especially in dirt racing as they have produced the iconic figures in racing history. Ryan Blaney, who drives for the Penske Racing team in the NASCAR cup series, followed his grandfather Lou Blaney and a father Dave Blaney to the race track and now is racing in the premier stock car racing championship in the world making the family proud.

Among the many historical achievements, they have produced together as a family, the Blaney’s are now getting ready to write another chapter to it this time with SRX. It was announced that Ryan Blaney and his father Dave Blaney will compete in the final race of the 2022 Superstar Racing Experience season at Sharon Speedway in Hartford. The father-son duo has previously raced in the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway where the senior came out victorious.

The family has close emotional and professional ties with the track as Lou Blaney was a part-owner and driver of the Ohio track. With his race in Sharon Ryan Blaney will become only the second active NASCAR Cup Series driver to race in SRX following Chase Elliott’s run last year.

Sebastian Arias seven-race deal to race in ARCA Mendes series

Colombian NASCAR racer Sebastian Arias has signed a seven-race deal earlier this week with Nascimento Motorsports, LLC, a team fielded by ARCA Menards Series West veteran Eric Nascimento in his efforts to get climb the motorsport ladder to become only the second Colombian to drive at the top tier of racing behind Juan Pablo Montoya.

This is the second season of Sebastian Arias in the NASCAR racing scene and he shared his excitement about joining the team saying  “I am thankful for the amazing people I’m working with. It’s been hard work this off-season, but it will pay to Win the long run… I’m sure there will be some happy fans out there. We are coming strong this year!”
