The 2024 NASCAR season witnessed Hailee Deegan losing her Xfinity Series seat at AM Racing and changing her whole career to shift the focus to IndyCar series. The sport was missing a female racing star for the upcoming 2025 season. Tricon Garage has now filled with void with the announcement of Toni Breidinger’s rookie debut.

The most followed NASCAR racer on social media, is set to chase her dream in the third division series. Toni Breidinger has a lot of pressure in her shoulders owing to fact that despite having fastest cars at the ARCA series, she hasn’t won a race yet and she is expected to perform at a high level from day one with the championship calibre Toyota team.

The announcement wasn’t a received well by every fan in the NASSCAR community, as there were a group that used social media to discredit the racer. Now Breidinger has responded to them and has pointed out that she is happy about making some haters mad. She is excited for the next-season and ignoring the unwanted noise.

Yeah, I definitely have been making the haters a little mad lately, that’s for sure. But I mean, all good stuff on my end, everyone in my inner circle is really excited and happy. It’s kind of a new chapter for me. So, I mean obviously easier said than done to say ignore the haters.

Toni Breidinger explains how she challenges pressure  

In the same interview, Breidinger revealed how she worked under pressure and succeed. She pointed out, she is someone who is more stable and confident in herself, as she has learned to master the mental games. This is mainly had to do with the fact that she is good at being clam and composed.

It’s not like I’m working harder, I’m just more stable and present and able to feel confident in myself. So huge mental game and yeah, I think I’m pretty good with keeping a calm head on my shoulders and everything.

The comment from the female racer shows a high level of confidence that is going to help her cope with the massive pressure of the aggressive racing she is set to encounter in the Truck Series. It would be in interesting to see how Breidinger would perform on her rookie NASCAR season.
