The last two years has been chaotic for former IndyCar and NASCAR champion Tony Stewart. He has announced the ceasing of operations of his NASCAR team, he was forced to suspend the latest season of his racing series, sold his sprint car racing series after he suffered many financial and time losses.

But finally, the racing legend has a huge new to cheer for as he and his NHRA racing star wife Leah Pruett is expecting their first child. She, who was a championship contender in her NHRA premiere division, decided take a break this season to start a family with Tony Stewart. Pruett’s seat was taken over by her husband for the 2024 season.

The pregnancy announcement was made with a hilarious social media post from Tony Stewart. He shared a compilation video announcing, “It’s a boy” and a poster announcing the, which looks like a movie poster. It revealed that the due date for the pregnancy is November. The star racer is really excited welcome his son to the world.

The star driver didn’t take over his wife seat just to produce some solid runs, he is ready to fight for the wins and be successful. He is slowly learning the trade of drag racing at the top level and is determined to be successful.

He hasn’t been able to produce any over the top performance in his debut year in the top NHRA tier, but has shown some promise. It would be interesting to see how the drag racing season will playout for the racing legend.
