Tony Stewart’s wife Leah Pruett gives a major update on her 2025 racing plans after having baby Dominic
Leah Pruett has confirmed that she will not be racing in the upcoming 2025 NHRA season, with Tony Stewart continuing to drive with TSR.

The 2024 racing season was life changing for NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart and his wife Leah Pruet. They became parents for the first time, as Pruet gave birth to a baby boy, Dominic and is now on full-parents mode. The couple is now working hard to balance both their racing career as well as being full-time parents.
Leah Pruett had to stay away from racing in 2024 owing to her pregnancy and now she has explained her plans for the 2025 racing season. She has confirmed via Behind the Catch Fence that she would not be racing in the upcoming NHRA season as she is focused on raising the baby boy before coming back to racing in the drag racing scene.
In the absence of Leah Pruett, the TSR seat will be yet again taken over by Tony Stewart. He had an impressive 2024 season on his debut, despite the struggles of being a rookie on the top tier. Now with a one-year experience under his belt, he will be looking forward to having a strong season and proving his worth in the drag racing scene.

In the same interview Leah Pruett shared her experience raising baby Dominic, and asserted that she is loving every moment with him. She is taking pictures of him every day of the baby nothingness and keeping it in her heart. Pruett feels like having the bets time of her life as a mother.
The comment from Pruett shows how deep she is in the motherhood and her willingness to sacrifice one more year of her racing career, despite she being in the peak of her career shows how much she loves the baby. It would be interesting to see if the Stewart family decide to race together in the 2026 season.
