The NASCAR Cup garage is at the Charllotte Roval ready to face the challenges of newly re-configured track. The addition of turtle curbing, changes made to the turn 6-7 and the changes made the corner that often-featured duels in the corkscrew chicane’s will be a massive challenge for the racer. But not everyone is fond of the changes.

JGR veteran Denny Hamlin feels these changes were made to make the race, which was already chaotic a bigger mess. But 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick doesn’t seem to agree with these claims entirely. The 2024 regular season champion pointed out that there won’t any big changes at the start of the race but added that towards the end of the event there might be some chaos on the corner because of desperate racers.

I don’t think if they’ll change a whole lot in the beginning but certainly, I think when teams, drivers get desperate at the end or so mid to the back of pack, I think that corner can get pretty interesting.

Tyler Reddick told Frontstretch.

He believes that most of the cars in the leading pack will be able to make enough gap between them to avoid any collision on the seventh turn. The No:45 Toyota driver would be hopping to the do the same in the race, as he is in the elimination bubble and needs a solid run to make it into the next-round.

I think for the most car up front, if you do your part, you should be able create enough separation by seven [turn 7] and not have to really worry about many moves.

Tyler Reddick added.

Tyler Reddick felt good about changes to the track coming into Roval

The Toyota driver, previously while coming to the race weekend, admitted that he felt good about the changes made to the track. He admitted that it is going the level the field a bit and will be good for him especially.

I feel good about it. The changes to the course — typically, anytime something changes on any type of track, it helps me, I feel like. It levels the field a little bit. It should be good for us.

Tyler Reddick said.

The 23XI driver, being one of the most impressive racers in the road courses, is looking forward to producing his best performance on the track using the changes made to his advantage. Majority of the grid will find it hard to easily cope with the changes, while road course experts like Reddick can use it to take the lead early and keep it till the end, away from wrecks and crashes.
