The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series so far has been marked by the absolute domination of 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick. He is currently sitting P1 in the championship table with two-win worth point advantage over P2 Ryan Blaney, after winning four of the six races so far. Winning historic first three races of the season, was the highlight of his season.
Talking about the dominant start to the season ahead of the Martinsville race weekend, the Toyota driver admitted that the upcoming races of the season will be different challenge for him, considering how different the tracks will be compared to ones he won at. He is ready for the additional challenge this week at Martinsville, a track where he has often struggled.
This early on, the tracks are all, for the most part, very different. So, if you have one good week somewhere, like we were just in Darlington and now we’re in Martinsville, and what it takes to run well here at Martinsville will be different from Bristol.
Tyler Reddick said ahead of Martinsville race.
Further talking about the point, the two times NASCAR second division champion talked about how is keeping his level during the streak. Tyler Reddick joked that it’s not good for his head, if he is continuing the domination. Though it’s a joke, the comments highlight the mental pressure drivers have to go through, even when they are at their peak.
The schedule naturally keeps you level-headed to begin with. But certainly, if we’re able to go out there and continue to score a lot of points and contend for race wins, yeah, it’s not good for my head.

Denny Hamlin highlights how Tyler Reddick has become more mature
23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin talked about his driver ahead of the race week and admitted that the having the star racer in the team has been really important for them in making history. The veteran has proved he is one of the elite racers in the sport by meeting expectations since signing with the team in 2023.

He will be. Tyler’s one of those guys that was very important for us to get our hands on him very early, as you talked about. But I think he’s lived up to the expectations for us. Certainly last year was not great, but like when his not great years are still in the top 10, those are the elite drivers.
Denny Hamlin said.
Further talking about the point, the three times Daytona 500 champion pointed out that Reddick 2026 form is not just because of the 23XI cars pace, but also the result of the maturity the youngster has shown. The TRD team has been looking for the balance for a longtime and they now have finally found it with Reddick.
We’re seeing this year he’s putting it all together. And our racecars are really fast, too. They really are. What I like about it is just they’re winning races that they’re overcoming something. They’re not just flat out dominating them. So that shows his maturity.
Denny Hamlin added.
The comments from the JGR veteran shows they are more than impressed with his driver Tyler Reddick. 23XI is working hard behind the scene sign a new deal with the racer, as his current contract is set to run out soon.
