Aric Almirola celebrates ‘amazing’ Bristol win
Almirola was over the moon after clinching this shock victory at Bristol Motor Speedway. The No. 19 shared his feelings to the media after his victory lane burnout.

The JGR driver claimed that he felt amazing. Aric Almirola recalled that Bristol is one of his favorite tracks in NASCAR, having performed well at this speedway over the years. Moreover, he insisted that nothing comes close to the atmosphere of a Bristol Night race, making the face even more special.
It’s amazing, absolutely amazing. I have run so good here throughout my entire career and never been able to experience this, what it feels like to win at Bristol and the Bristol Night Race, right? It’s just an amazing place and the atmosphere and this racetrack is so cool to race at, so just really grateful.
Aric Almirola said post-race.
However, the win was not easy. Aric Almirola pointed out that it took him some time to get up to speed during the race. The JGR star faced some issues with the No. 19 car, particularly a lack of grip. Nevertheless, he managed to get things in order with just ten laps to go, and the result is there to see.
You know, it was tough. My car took a little bit to get going. I fired off and I just wasn’t quite in the racetrack like I needed to. I was kind of slipping and sliding and couldn’t get my car to do exactly what I wanted. And then about 10 laps into the run, my car would finally start coming to me and do what I wanted it to do.
Aric Almirola added.
