Natalya’s Dad – Where is he now?

Natalie Katherine Neidhart-Wilson aka Natalya is a professional wrestling athlete and blogger of Canadian and American descent. She is presently affiliated to WWE, where she works under the stage name Natalya on the SmackDown division, where she and Tamina were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

She is a two-time women’s world champion, having won both the Divas Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Also, to everyone’s surprise, she is a third-generation professional wrestler and the daughter of Jim Neidhart, a member of the Hart Foundation and a Hall of Famer.

Jim Neidhart – Natalya’s Dad

Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, a two-time WWF Tag Team Champion with his real-life brother-in-law Bret Hart as The Hart Foundation, appeared on television in the 1980s and 1990s. He also competed in Stampede Wrestling, Florida Championship Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling, Memphis Championship Wrestling, and the Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation, winning titles in each.

Where is he now?

Natalya pays tribute

Jim Neidhart passed away at the age of 63, WWE officially confirmed. “Neidhart’s legacy lives on today via his daughter, Natalya, who demonstrates her father’s characteristic charisma and toughness every time she steps in the ring,” WWE stated in a statement announcing Neidhart’s death. Neidhart was a member of the Hart wrestling family, which is well-known throughout the world but especially in Canada.

Neidhart appears to have “fallen at home, struck his head, and succumbed to his injury,” according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. When Neidhart went to change the temperature, his wife Elizabeth said her husband “turned awkwardly as if he were ready to dance,” according to a copy of the inquiry report obtained by TMZ Sports. According to the report, “he then plummeted towards the wall and ground.” She immediately dialled 911, assuming he was having a seizure because he “had seizures and takes medication for them.”

Natalya had made her first appearance in the ring since her father, WWE Legend Jim Neidhart, died away unexpectedly on August 13, and she took a little part of “The Anvil” with her. Natalya wore the trademark pink and black ring jacket that her father made famous when he was a member of the iconic Hart Foundation alongside Natalya’s uncle Bret “Hit Man” Hart at Barclays Center to witness the back of her buddy Ronda Rousey, who contested Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Title at the PPV.

In essence, her father wore the same outfit at SummerSlam 1990, when The Hart Foundation won the World Tag Team Championship by defeating Demolition in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.
