Nathan Frazer and Axiom are arguably the best NXT Tag Team Champions of all time. They have completely revamped the tag division on the developmental brand. Additionally, nearly every match of their run as champions has been incredible. Thus, it was highly exciting to see these superstars in the same frame as a legendary tag team of the past, The Hardyz.
At TNA Genesis, Matt and Jeff Hardy were set to defend their TNA World Tag Team Championship against the Rascalz. Before the match began, Fraxiom made a surprise entrance and grabbed ringside seats to watch the action live. During the match, Zachary Wentz hit a dropkick onto the champions and sent them crashing into the NXT superstars.
A short while later, Trey Miguel landed a suicide dive onto the NXT Tag Team Champions due to Matt Hardy stepping out of the way. Things got heated, and security had to escort Fraxiom to the back. Now, they are set to defend their tag titles against the Rascalz on Thursday’s episode of Impact. Furthermore, the developmental talent also posted a photo with the Hardyz on X after the show went off the air.

Fraxiom were not the only superstars from the Stamford-based promotion to make an appearance at this show. Cora Jade also made a surprise entrance during the show. Before the Genesis PPV began, Triple H teased that the Genesis PPV was going to be a huge night, and he wasn’t wrong.
WWE and TNA recently signed a multi-year deal that included more crossover appearances between these two promotions. Furthermore, this may also result in new signings, as evident by Jordynne Grace being headed to WWE.
Will The Hardyz challenge Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship
TNA superstars making WWE appearances to challenge for NXT titles is nothing new. Jordynne Grace went up against Roxanne Perez in the past for the NXT Women’s Championship. Joe Hendry even managed to earn himself a shot at Ethan Page for the NXT Championship a few months ago. It wouldn’t be too surprising to see the same happen for the tag belts with The Hardyz.
While this social media post was perhaps just a one-time thing, fans have gotten used to the fact that small details, even on social media, could be teasers for something huge to come in the future. If this match does take place, it would be a great passing of the torch moment for these two rising superstars.
There is no doubt that Jeff Hardy is interested in having a match for WWE. He has stated multiple times that he wants to return to the Stamford-based promotion, turn heel, and retire CM Punk before going into the Hall of Fame.
