NBA 2020-21 Pre-season- James Harden less Houston Rockets thrash Chicago Bulls

After a very tough off season, the last thing Houston Rockets wanted was their team underperforming in the pre-season. Their first encounter was against Eastern Conference giants Chicago Bulls. As James Harden was not expected to play, evidently all eyes were on John Wall and whether or not he could combine with the other players in the roaster.
A far as the Chicago Bulls mostly bring back their same squad as last year. Key additions include Billy Donovan as head coach and Patrick Williams as the number 4 overall pick in the NBA Draft.
Chicago Bulls vs Houston Rockets- As it happened

1st quarter-
As the Bulls were expecting Wood and Wall to fire from the front. It seemed like they took some minutes to start off. But it was Eric Gordon who started exactly from where he left last season. Not just Gordon but also Gerald Green lasted well for the Rockets. As a result, they led 37-26.
2nd quarter–
Zach Lavine was scoring for the Bulls and in fact their entire starting 5 were. But continuous offensive pressure for Gordon, Wall and Green kept pushing them to shoot in urgency. The Rockets had a 3-point shooting accurately of more than 46% and led the Bulls 68-48 by the end of 2nd quarter.
3rd quarter-
What followed in the 3rd quarter was the same as the first half. But with only players stepping up for the Houston Rockets, Demarcus Cousins and Bruno Caboclo. Having scored 14 and 12 points respectively. While Coby White also started scoring for the Bulls, it just didn’t seem enough as the points gap only kept increasing.
4th quarter-
What followed throughout the 3 quarters, followed in the 4th as well. Houston completely dominated the course of the match. As a result led by newly acquired John Wall and veteran Eric Gordon, Rockets’ won by 21 points. Even though the Bulls scored 32 points in the last quarter, the result only had to go one way.
