Los Angeles Lakers take on the Los Angeles Clippers for the second time in 3 days for their last meeting in the pre-season. With Lebron James and Anthony Davis both not being expected to step onto the court yet again. Even Denis Schroder would not be playing this game. However, the talk of the hour is about 20-year-old Talen Horton Tucker who blasts a star studded LA Clippers side.
The Clippers played with their full strength in order to find the right form before entering the regular season from December 22. The team used 11 players from the bench to find the perfect combination. Nothing worked. It was not only Tucker, but also Kyle Kuzma who looks to be in great shape to answer all his critics in the most promising way.

1st quarter-
The defending champions started back with Kyle Kuzma today, with Markieff Morris and Marc Gasol coming back in action. Whereas the Clippers started with their possible starting line-up for the regular season as well. But when they attacked, Lakers were even fiercer. It is not often the case that a team who scores 30+ points in a quarter are outplayed. Such was the case with Clippers, as Lakers led 29-39.
2nd quarter-
While Paul George and Kawhi Leonard struggled, Horton Tucker made sure Lakers marquee players are not bothered enough to be called upon. The 20-year-old finally got some serious game time to which he delivered. While Clippers kept on substituting players, Lakers kept a formidable line-up for some time onto the court. Going into the halftime Lakers led by 6 points only.
3rd quarter-
Not only were Kyle Kuzma and Horton Tucker scoring points. But they also pointed out some serious loopholes in the Clippers’ game. It wasn’t just them, Montrezl Harrell stepped onto the court and was playing around with his former team. He scored more points than anyone from the Clippers coming off the bench. The Lakersl led by 16.
4th quarter-
A shambolic play for the Clippers got even worse, when Kyle Kuzma turned his magic on the last quarter and the Clippers stood still. The LA Clippers used 12 players off the bench whereas the Lakers used only 3. Such was the confidence of the defending champions, Lakers beat Clippers 106-131.
