1st quarter-
As the game got underway both marquee players Donovan Mitchell for the Jazz and Devin Booker for the Suns led their teams. The entire 1st quarter was a close competition. With both teams on the neck of the other. Devin Booker scored 12 points on the 1st quarter itself. It was the Jazz somehow who were able to get the better of the Suns on occasions. After the 1st quarter Utah Jazz led 33-26.
2nd quarter-
In the 2nd quarter the intent of the Jazz players seemed evident, they wanted to attack! Jordan Clarkson stepped in and started making the difference with his game play and scoring. While the Suns were lacking creativity, Jazz were full of it and Joe Ingles was able to move freely in the Suns Box. Heading into the half Jazz led by a decent margin of 11 points.
3rd quarter-
Langston Galloway started the scoring and piling on the pressure onto the Jazz players. Some mistakes and some genuine unique plays led the Suns come back into the game well. At some instances one might suggest CP3 could have been really handful. But never the less, the Suns closed the gap to only a 4-point lead going into the last quarter.
4th quarter-
The time when Utah jazz seemed most vulnerable, Williams Goss and Juwan Morgan were there to steady the ship, loading the pressure of the big guns. As the Suns tried to step onto the gas in the early minutes of the last quarter. Forrest, Goss, Hughes and Morgan saw the game through beautifully for the Jazz.
