James Harden and his Brooklyn Nets are going to face a storm in the face of LA lakers in the NBA 2021-22 Season. From LeBron James to Anthony Davis to Russell Westbrook to Malik Monk among other elite superstars, the 2020 NBA Champions have equipped their marquee figures with the most star-studded roster possible. And ahead of the start of the new season, the Beard has delivered his honest opinion on the same. 

Although LA Lakers are set to face Brooklyn Nets in the first pre-season game but it will not feature majority of the players from each side. However just like the previous season, many hoop fans believe that it is going to be Brooklyn Nets vs LA Lakers in the NBA Finals this year. And looking at their respective squads, it is hard to disagree.

James Harden stated as quoted by SNY, “They got to figure out the fit. On paper, they look great. They got vets, guys with experience. We got the same thing.”

Russell Westbrook has been acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the start of the NBA 2021-22 Season, forming a Big 3 involving LeBron and Anthony Davis. On the other hand, the Brooklyn Nets have their own Big 3 comprising of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden.

But the purple and gold army have added a plethora of players with championship winning experience. Which could undoubtedly come in handy when the going gets tough at one point or the other for the most successful team in the history of the league. 

But will the Brooklyn Nets be able to handle such an elite squad, with defensive and offensive beats hovering around in the paint? Remains to be seen. Having said that, from the words of James Harden, it does look like the men from Barclays Center are set and ready to battle against the favorites.
