NBA 2021 All-Star: Indiana Pacers Domantas Sabonis wins Skills Challenge

All-Star Weekend was originally scheduled to be held at Domantas Sabonis’ home arena in Indianapolis, before the coronavirus pandemic forced the NBA to relocate the festivities to Atlanta. IndianaΒ Pacers wouldβve been made proud by their marquee Sabonis as he won the skillΒ challenge, edging over Orlando Magic’s Nikola VucevicΒ
Having said that, the skills challenge featured two guards,Β oneΒ being Dallas Mavericksβ starΒ Luka DoncicΒ and the other was Phoenix’sΒ Chris PaulΒ and four forwards/centers. Doncic and Paul each picked up a first-round bye, while the big men duked it out.Β

“It was fun,” Domantas Sabonis said as per ESPN. “I wanted to come out and make sure I got it done this time.’‘
However, after Sabonis and Vucevic defeated theΒ New York Knicks’Β Julius Randle. Also, theΒ Portland Trail Blazers’Β Robert Covington, respectively, in the first round. Each big man got by the guards to advance to the final round.Β
In the finals, it came down to the final shot for both players. Sabonis was able to get his 3-pointer to fall before Vucevic’s to win the contest.
