With the team struggling without Zion Williamson, Pelicans have found it tough to win games, but on this occasion against OKC Thunder, Graham decided to have his word as the last, to shock fans all over the world. 

With no time out remaining, Shai Gilgeous Alexander saw an opportunity with his team being down by 3-points, 107-110.With just over 1-second on the game clock, he made a game tying 3. Making everyone believe that the game is all set to go to OverTime. But it wasn’t until Devonte Graham took the ball in his clutches to ensure that the team comes out victorious in regular time in this particular contest.

Devonte Graham knocks surreal game winner 

From about 30 feet out, Shai Gilgeous Alexander took a game tying shot, which got the entire OKC Thunder bench on the floor. But with no timeout remaining, Devonte Graham was adamant on getting the ball. And after receiving it, he threw it towards the bucket. And guess what? It went in, making the away team register a win in the Pelicans vs OKC contest.

The home fans were left stunned at the Paycom Center even as Devonte’ Graham’s attempt was reviewed. However, the play was ruled proper, confirming that the ball had left Graham’s hands before the buzzer had sounded.
