Giannis scored 31 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out nine assists in the game. The Bucks were missing their defensive menace and primary playmaker Jrue Holiday, who is NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols. Their head coach Mike Budenholzer was also missing in action due to the same reason.

The Nets were without Kyrie Irving as he remains banned from the Nets’ home games due to his vaccine status. For the Nets, Kevin Durant scored 29 points, while James Harden had only 16 points for the night. This was the Nets’ fourth consecutive home loss. In total, the Nets have lost four of their last five games. They are currently 24-13 in the season, good enough for the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference.

Giannis Antetokounmpo shows unbelievable athleticism

During the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo did something other-worldly. But the irony is that doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone realizing what Giannis can do with that body and athleticism of his.

In the 3rd quarter, Bobby Portis rebounded the ball and handed it to Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis after having the ball dribbled the ball only two times before reaching to the opposite end for a wide-open layup. The first dribble was a little outside the three-point line on the backcourt. The next dribble was just outside the three-point line of the frontcourt. After that, all it took was Giannis’ two long steps to reach to the paint and take off from there for a flying layup. It helped that the two steps were euro steps, giving no chance to the defenders. Twitter was not behind in expressing their reaction to this.
