JA Morant has been the most dominant young star of the league so far the season as he carries Memphis Grizzlies to new heights. While also adding himself in the MVP conversation alongside names like Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, DeMar DeRozan and Joel Embiid. JA was always a part of the list but never a top contender for the MVP award. But after his greats against the San Antonio Spurs where he showcased his bounce and shooting efficiency while dominating the offensive end, we may soon find the rankings changed.

Recently, the Memphis Grizzlies hosted the San Antonio Spurs at FedEx Forum. The game was contested and head to head throughout the last three quarters. But JA and the Grizzlies were successful in taking over the lead during the first quarter itself. Which eventually resulted in winning the game. As the final box score stands at 118-105 favoring the Memphis Grizzlies. Currently, under the leadership of JA Morant, the Grizzlies are ranked as the third seed in the western conference with the record of 43 wins and 20 losses at .683 just behind the Stephen Curry led Golden State Warriors.

JA Morant gets the most credits for the wins as his pure scoring ability dominated the game and got the dub. In the game, the young star recorded a new career-high as he scored 52 points, 2 assists and 7 rebounds while also setting a franchise record in scoring. JA also broke the internet by showing off his shooting heroics as he hit a three-pointer from deep downtown and looked like a splash brother. As fans draw comparison with Stephen Curry.
