NBA Analyst Kendrick Perkins suggests Giannis to Warriors is a viable and wise option
The NBA speculations and rumors are one of the biggest and most spoken about pre seasons analytics in the world. It has been proven yet again as the draft date is approaching. One of the biggest names to headline is Giannis Antetokounmpo. The 2-time MVP has impressed every single spectator during the previous 2 seasons and shows so signal of stopping. But the poor performance of the Milwaukee Bucks has yet again continued even in the 2019-20 playoffs. As they were beaten convincingly by Miami Heat in the 2nd round.
As Giannis would become an unrestricted free agent in the summer, one of the biggest franchises is the NBA is set to make a move for him. Which is the Golden State Warriors. The franchise is looking to bounce back with their marquee players in the 2020-21 season. They are also being referred as one of the favorites to lift the championship.
Kendrick Perkins on Giannis Antetokounmpo
If the Warriors give up youngsters Andrew Wiggins and Eric Paschall, they can acquire Giannis, even though it might take them a bit over the tax line.
Furthermore, Kendrick Perkins recently joined Sportsnet’s “Tim & Sid” where he instilled belief that Giannis is definitely on the move.
“Giannis is doing a great job of keeping it in the house. Nobody knows, everyone is just speculating, but my guess is, Milwaukee right now, they’re not focused on signing Giannis. They’re probably focused on making a trade,” Perkins said.
“If they can’t land anybody during the offseason, expect Giannis in this short offseason to get traded,” added Perkins. But there are several teams in contention to acquire one of the best players in the league. Who should he sign with?
One can only imagine about the breath-taking scenario that will take place when Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Klay Thompson would step onto the basketball court wearing the same jersey. Averaging more than 30 points per game, it seems like joining one of the favourites would be a wise option for the MVP if he wants to lift the championship.
