Joe Ingles unfortunately is a part of the injury list as he suffered a knee injury against the Minnesota Timberwolves in their latest match-up. There’s fear of him sitting out for the rest of the season but still, nothing stands to confirm as Joe Ingles will undergo an MRI in Salt Lake City on Monday. The Utah Jazz has been struggling with the injuries this season from their starters, stars to role players everyone being side-lined for a while due to either COVID-19 protocols or injuries.
Joe Ingles is a multi-positional player who can come up as a shooting guard and even switch roles as a small forward since his size and athleticism fit in well at both ends. This season Joe Ingles was averaging 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.1 blocks per game. But now the rally may have ended as the chances of him suffering a season-ending injury are very high. As the knee wasn’t in a comfortable position when he fell off which may result in an ACL tear as many believe.
With 5 minutes and 52 seconds remaining for the second quarter to end and the Wolves leading with five points, the game was paused as Ingles was on the floor screaming in pain. Joe decided to drive in and slipped while going up for a layup to secure two points for the team. But the slip resulted in the left knee getting buckled and almost breaking as he fell on it and the scream was loud enough that everyone on and near the court knew it is something very serious.

Joe Ingles was an important piece of the roster and especially the line-up the Utah Jazz uses to close it all out. Currently, the Utah Jazz is ranked as the fourth seed in the western conference with the record of 30 wins and 21 losses at .588 as they are on a 5 game losing streak while battling out injuries. Joe was a major blow to it as he is the best key player they have who can even start and come off the bench while running the offensive end hot as he shoots and gives some hard time while defending the players.
Twitter has prayers up for Joe Ingles as Jazz-nation again goes down but not because of performances but injuries. Fans around the globe are showing love for Ingles while hoping the results are good and he can be back soon. While some compare it to Kawhi Leonard’s injury.
