It seems like the world is at the peak of its desperation to know why Ben Simmons has not suited up this season, yet. There have been many assumptions as to why with a few of them being that he does not like the Philadelphia 76ers franchise or that he is battling genuine mental health issues that are of a serious degree. The list of assumptions could be endless.

Ben Simmons had allegedly skipped practice sessions with the team while ignoring his teammates and coaching staff together in the mix. This conspired after being heavily mocked by 76ers fans which could also be another reason for his absence. The player had eventually made amends with everybody and came forth apologetically. He joined the team for a couple of practice sessions but chose to remain away from the competitive games.

Simmons has been fined each game for not appearing and the 76ers have decided to deduct any amount from the $8.25 million they owe him as part of the contract. The coaching staff and teammates have tried hard to convince Simmons to stay and play but the three-time all-star is mostly to be traded soon.

I’m down to play to with anybody,” said Austin after the reporter had asked him to share his thoughts on a potential Ben Simmons trade involving Tobias Harris as well. Austin seemed very open towards the fact of both players possibly suiting up with him.

Earlier, Doc Rivers had admitted that he values Ben Simmons as a player and was still willing to work with him. All 76ers players were hoping for the best for their brother but it seems that the team is most likely to part ways with their point guard, according to Austin Rivers.
