Lakers big man Anthony Davis after recovering from his knee injury is playing like a maniac, his comeback brought back the hopes for the team. Although, he is demolishing the opponent’s defense the Lakers are still not able to win the game and they are still struggling which was seen against in the game their city rivals the Clippers.
The game was really hard-fought between the Lakers and the Clippers, but Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson stole the show from the Davis-led Lakers when they both shot the three-pointers in the crucial moment of the game which favored the victory into the Clippers hand.

Anthony Davis feels dejected after missing the floater in the last moment
Moreover, there was a chance for Anthony Davis to change the direction of the game in the final possession. He threw a floater at the last moment which rimmed in and out after which the game time ended and resulted in the loss for the Lakers.
In the post-game interview, Anthony Davis explained his thought after missing the last shot. He said, “Basketball gods can’t do that to me, man, the ball touched every part of the rim, I couldn’t ask for a better look. Malik was trailing. But by that time, I was already into the shot. the ball is in. It rolls out. Tough play, tough miss.”
Further, he added, “I’ll have more opportunities, I’m sure I’ll be in there.”
In this season, Davis has averaged 23.6 points, 9.9 rebounds. His shooting accuracy from the field is 52.4% and from behind the arc, he has only converted 17.5% of shots, but he has also made 17 double-doubles which shows how much domination he holds during the game.

Lakers star Anthony Davis isn’t an All-Star this year, but he’s wants to play like one.
Anthony Davis hasn’t been selected for the All-star this season, the primary reason for this is his absence in the league games. In the current season, he has missed almost 20 games due to a sprain & soreness in the left knee (18), a sore right wrist (1), and one when he had flu-like symptoms.
Davis said, “I kind of figured I wasn’t All-star because of the amount of games that I missed, I can spend time; not be at All-Star and be somewhere else.”
It is totally right to say that the Lakers are not in the form, but soon when LeBron James will rejoin the campaign their morale will be boosted and it will be interesting to watch how the Lakers will make their comeback after their worsts record of 25-28
